Does this sound ok for a homemade incubation for leopard gecko eggs?

So I am going to have a styrofoam cooler thing then I will have a under tank heater at the bottom. I'm going to put the leopard gecko eggs in a plastic tupperware filled with perlite or vermiculite (I don't know which one is better) on top of the heatmat. It won't melt right?? maybe I will put a towel between the under tank heat and the tupperware so it doesn't get too hot? I also will have a thermostat and a thermometer on top of the closed tupperware. Do I need to poke holes in the tupperware so when the eggs hatch the leo's can breath when they hatch? Does that sound good? Did I miss anything?? Thanks for any help!
