Does black skin attract heat more than white skin?

Your assumption is correct dark colors do not reflect light and heat as well as lighter colors do. This works with people of color as well. The darker the skin, the more heat is retained. As far as the incidence of skin cancer or other skin conditions, I'm not sure. I would think that there are studies out there somewhere
