What does he mean by the whole never see each other again? What should I say?

My crush (I don't know if he knows I like him) told me that if I didn't worry so much he'd like me more. He shows sings of liking me like staring, showing odd, and talking to otter girls more easier. He also said remember how we texted a lot over mid-winter break? Well I liked that. Does he like me? I asked him why he was trying to make me stop worrying. He said idc if you do or not but these questions are kinda annoying? Then I said well questions give me answers so I won't have to be confused the rest of my life. He said you won't be confused for the rest of your life! After next year we will never see each other again! Then, I started crying. What do I do? How can I ask him if we can try a relationship now and see how it goes so that we won't regret anything when we won't see each other? How can I say something like that? Is he trying to start a relationship with me? Thanks!
